About Turing.School

Turing.School's AI boosted exercise platform is designed to generate coding exercises based on a selected story background. The platform allows users to choose a story background in sci-fi, horror, magic, or funny genres, and then design coding exercises using keywords or their own start.
The AI will then generate the rest of the exercise based on the given inputs. An example of an exercise is one where the user is tasked with creating a program to help a small town fight a zombie outbreak by creating a list of weapons and assigning each resident a weapon and a zombie to defend against.
The platform also includes an AI tutor that can answer questions about the exercise, eliminating the need to wait for human assistance. Additionally, the user can subscribe to the newsletter to receive news and deals from Turing.School.
Overall, Turing.School's AI boosted exercise platform is a useful tool for anyone looking to improve their coding skills while having fun with creative story backgrounds.
The platform's AI technology adds an element of interactivity and personalization to the traditional coding exercise process, making it an innovative and enjoyable learning experience.

FAQ

Turing.School Return Policy?

The return policy at Turing School is comprehensive and designed to accommodate various circumstances. Students are eligible for a full refund of all fees and tuition paid if they never attend the first scheduled day of Module 1, or if they request cancellation of enrollment within the first 5 days of training during the Initial Drop Period, which ends at 5pm on the 5th day of scheduled training.

If a student is not accepted for training by the school, or if the school discontinues a course/program within a period a student could have reasonably completed it, a full refund is also granted. In the unlikely event that Turing ceases operations, students will receive a refund in compliance with the requirements outlined by the state governing agency. All refunds due under these provisions will be processed within 30 calendar days of the applicable circumstance.

Should a student cancel enrollment after receiving a laptop and within the Initial Drop Period, they will be asked to return the laptop. Alternatively, they may choose to keep the laptop by purchasing it at the non-profit discounted rate received by Turing, or apply their existing deposit towards the purchase price of $1200.00.

For students withdrawing or dismissed after the Initial Drop Period, a pro rata reimbursement is calculated based on completed hours, with each day of the program calculated as 6 contact hours. The refund is based on the last date of recorded attendance and the exact percentage of completion will be calculated based on the individual student's contact hours. The refund schedule is as follows:

  • 10% of program completed: 90% Refunded
  • 20% of program completed: 80% Refunded
  • 30% of program completed: 70% Refunded
  • 40% of program completed: 60% Refunded
  • 50% of program completed: 50% Refunded
  • 60% of program completed: 40% Refunded
  • 70% of program completed: 30% Refunded
  • 80% of program completed: 20% Refunded
  • 90% of program completed: 10% Refunded

The refund due to an enrolled student who elects to withdraw is calculated using the last date of attendance and will be paid within 30 calendar days from the documented date of determination. The date of determination is when the student gives notice of withdrawal to Turing, or when Turing terminates a student due to violations of policies.

For students electing the Up-Front Option of payment, they will be entitled to a pro rata reimbursement based on completed hours, similar to the schedule mentioned above.
